Introduction

Purpose
The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Policy Suite is a decision making tool and guide for staff and volunteers and ensures the consistent operationalization of the Foundation's mission, values and principles.

Components
It is composed of Organization-Wide Policies which apply across the Foundation to all activities and Program Policies which are specific to grantmaking activities. Both sets of policies have been approved by the OTF Board of Directors.

In addition, most policies in this document are supplemented by the frequently asked questions about interpreting and applying OTF policy and their corresponding answers.

Context
To date, the Policy Suite has been primarily used by Program Managers and volunteer members of the Board of Directors, local area Grant Review Teams and the provincial Grant Review Committee. As such, the FAQs are written from an internal perspective and for their primarily audience, OTF Program Managers.
