$75,000 over 30 months for staffing and related costs to help implement a sexual violence and exploitation education campaign in Francophone secondary schools in Essex, Kent and Lambton. (Another OTF grant supports this project)

$140,000 over two years to help pay staff salaries and cover promotional costs to create operating systems, marketing and sponsorship materials to open the new renovated Capitol Theatre in the fall of 2010.

$55,000 over one year to replace the scoreboard at Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park. This will attract more participants and enhance this healthy form of recreation for youth aged 14 and older.

$65,000 over one year to purchase an 18-to-20-passenger bus. It will be used to transport parents and children to children's services unit programming, including early-childhood, alternative and continuing-education programs.

$53,000 over 18 months for printing, storage and distribution costs to publish four books commemorating the War of 1812 with special emphasis on its significance to Essex County.

$35,000 over one year to install automatic sliding doors and openers at the building entrance to the Thedford Bosanquet Recreation Complex, which will make it more accessible for people of all abilities to attend functions and events.

$60,000 over one year to replace roofs, driveways and bathrooms and purchase kitchen appliances for two foster care group homes for youth at risk in Windsor.

$70,300 over one year for services, promotions and software to design and implement a web portal dedicated to connecting arts and cultural organizations and the community across Chatham-Kent.
Association of Fundraising Professionals - Canada South Chapter
$35,000 over one year for speakers, marketing and communications to provide better educational opportunities for fundraisers. New programs will appeal to wider audiences and help enhance the capacity of local community agencies in Southern Ontario.

$73,600 over one year for a tractor, mowers, accessories and supplies to enhance the capacity of this volunteer group to maintain its existing playing fields.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor Essex
$142,600 over three years to increase the capacity of the organization by hiring a development officer. This new staff member will enhance the areas of fund development, marketing, public relations and volunteer management.
Border City Olympic Boxing Club
$32,900 over one year for part-time staff who will enhance the capacity of the group. The club facility will then be able to expand its services to all members of the community and create better economic opportunities in a poor socioeconomic area.

$75,000 over one year for staff, equipment and website design costs to create accessible resources specifically for the respective needs of children, teens and adult bereavement clients.
Carolinian Canada Coalition
$30,000 over three years to establish a Lake Erie Carolinian Coastal Trail System to help save coastal species, habitats and ecosystems at risk in communities along the north coast of Lake Erie. (Other OTF grants support this project.)

$50,000 over six months to purchase a passenger van to ensure that adults with developmental challenges in rural Chatham Kent can participate in activities and programs.

$137,600 over three years for a co-ordinator, equipment and expenses to develop and implement a prevention program for rural youth entitled R.E.A.L. Teens Talk. Youth will become educated about signs of unhealthy relationships and self-esteem.

$14,500 over six months to purchase football equipment for children aged 9 years and under, which will enable them to more safely participate in the sport of football in this rural Chatham Kent community.
Chatham-Kent Family Young Men's Christian Association
$94,400 over one year to create a Youth Energy Zone, a state-of-the-art health and wellness facility for youth that fully engages participants in virtual-type activities and games that require them to use their bodies.
Comber & District Historical Society
$10,000 to install a concrete floor in the storage area of the museum replacing an earthen one. This will enhance the capacity of the organization to safely store artifacts without risking damage due to water or mould.
Credit Counselling Services of Southwestern Ontario Inc.
$133,900 over two years to enhance the capacity of the organization by developing nine financial coaching modules with supporting educational and promotional materials. Counselling staff will then be trained to deliver them to those needing assistance.
Dow Centre for Youth Management Board c/o Sarnia Lambton Rebound: A Program for Youth
$52,000 over one year to purchase audio-visual equipment, window coverings and furnishings to enhance the Dow Centre for Youth that provides child and youth services for those in need in Sarnia-Lambton.
Epilepsy London & Area
$196,000 over three years to develop and implement a resiliency program that will help youth living with epilepsy become more active and involved in the community. (Another OTF grant supports this project.)
Essex County Chinese Canadian Association
$75,000 over one year to complete the renovations to the building, including roof repair and storage shed construction. An enhanced facade and barbeque area will be constructed to finish this centre for programs in the Chinese Canadian

$97,700 over two years to enhance the Familial Clown program through a train- the-trainer model of Laughter-Bosses. Therapeutic humour will be used to help enhance quality of life for nursing home residents with dementia in Southwestern Ontario.
GesstWood Camp and Retreat Centre
$13,700 over one year to enhance the main lodge of this camp in Essex County by replacing the original single-pane windows with more energy efficient ones and making the facility accessible year round.

$75,000 over one year to install a commercial lift, renovate washrooms and complete a new entrance to the new site of Goodwill Industries in Sarnia to ensure the access and participation of all members of the community.
House of Toast Film & Video Collective
$95,500 over three years to hire staff, develop a program and a teachers resource guide. These will increase awareness of the organization's educational and artistic programming, help raise funds and train volunteers.
Independent Order Oddfellows - Ridgely Lodge #250
$25,000 over one year to replace the roof and repair the interior of the lodge's meeting room in this heritage-designated building in rural Lambton county.
Lambton County Regional Trail Committee
$20,000 over one year to help produce both a digital and printed map that will highlight all Lambton County trails and naturalized areas. Printed copies will be distributed at tourist information centres, campgrounds and area events.
Lambton Seniors Association
$12,000 over one year to purchase office furnishings and equipment to expand operations and programming for seniors in Sarnia and Lambton county.
Merlin Parks and Recreation
$14,000 over one year to replace the roof and improve the safety and comfort of the Merlin Community Hall for residents of this rural community to use for recreation, events and meetings.
Rondeau Watershed Coalition
$24,300 over one year to hire a part-time project co-ordinator who will implement programming to collect seed, conduct community plantings and install permanent signage to enhance the habitat for two endangered butterfly species.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 399 - Belle River
$15,000 to replace the floor of the facility, increasing the safety of seniors and others who use the building throughout the year for recreation, meetings and events.
Ska:na Family Learning Centre
$11,000 over one year to replace and repair the leaking roof in the centre's facility. This will extend the life of the building and make it safer for members of the First Nations community of Windsor to use.

$30,000 over one year for office equipment, shelving and electrical upgrades that will help this organization in Windsor-Essex make its facilities safer and better for its membership to preserve and promote Francophone heritage.

$62,000 over one year to enhance the facility by replacing deteriorated equipment, providing proper irrigation, and a recreational batting area that accommodates youth with disabilities and improves safety.
Thamesville Happy Club
$7,000 over one year to replace the facility's furnace with a high-efficiency two-stage heating unit and install a new central air conditioning system. This will make the building safer and more comfortable for community groups that use it.
$60,000 over one year to continue to offer Windsor-Essex the best in musical theatre by purchasing more advanced microphones and related sound equipment. Sewing machines and carpentry tools will also be purchased to improve sets and costumes.
$75,000 over one year to enhance the technical capacities of the theatre and help make it more self-sufficient by purchasing and installing green L.E.D. and intelligent lighting technology.
Walpole Island Land Trust
$110,000 over three years for a co-ordinator, communications and coaching to develop the capacity of the organization, which will provide permanent protection of natural heritage lands within the traditional territory of Walpole Island First Nation.
War of 1812 Bi Centennial Legacy Commemorative Project c/o Provincial Marine Amherstburg Re-enactment Unit
$173,900 over three years for communication materials, re-enactment costs and a commemorative sculpture to tell the story of the War of 1812 as it relates to the area, and to co-ordinate events relating to the bicentennial.
Windsor Camera Club c/o Canadian Association for Photographic Art
$10,300 over one year to enhance the capacity of the group through the purchase of a projector and monitor to will present its work.
Windsor Endowment for the Arts
$75,000 over two years for a consultant, promotions and equipment. These will increase the capacity of the organization to launch its first grants program and build a sustainable structure for the ongoing growth of the endowment fund.
Windsor Residence for Young Men
$77,600 over two years to increase the capacity of the Windsor Residence for Young Men by hiring an interim director to secure the opening and future operations of the facility.

$6,100 over six months to purchase training mats so children and youth in the community can continue to participate in gymnastics more safely.

$13,000 over one year for staff, facility rentals and materials to hold a one-day public education event focusing on tinnitus and strategies for managing this prevalent hearing disorder.

$13,000 over one year for the purchase of a portable stage, a computer and sound equipment. This Francophone cultural centre in Sarnia will then be able to increase the number and quality of its presentations, shows and cultural activities.
Chatham-Kent Greening Partnership c/o St. Clair Region Conservation Foundation
$30,000 over one year for a co-ordinator and expenses to implement the Community Trees Initiative. This program will broaden secondary school students' appreciation of trees and their understanding of how to preserve and protect them.
Fogolar Furlan Windsor
$14,900 over one year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the club. One thousand copies of a book commemorating the contributions of immigrants from the Friuli region of Italy will be published and donated to members and libraries.
HOCKtoberfest Female Hockey Festival Inc.
$50,000 over one year to help make this four-day event in Windsor efficient and environmentally responsible. Funds will help obtain hybrid bus transportation, electronic registration and an improved website to enhance opportunities for female hockey.
House of Shalom Youth Centre
$62,500 over two years to hire a full-time activities co-ordinator to work with youth and adult volunteers in Amherstburg. Programming of interest to young people will then be enhanced and the number of volunteers increased.
Learning Disabilities Association of Lambton County
$7,100 over one year toward start-up costs of a new food service social enterprise initiative for youth at risk, who will benefit from the training, mentorship opportunities and business skills development.
Moore Optimist Club
$40,000 over one year toward the total cost of installing a splash pad in St. Clair Township. This will provide healthy recreation for children of all abilities and encourage visitors to the park.
Navy League of Canada Sarnia Branch c/o Navy League of Canada (Ontario Division)
$23,600 over one year to purchase new band equipment and hire a professional music instructor to provide free music instruction to young people in the community.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 388 - Wyoming
$15,000 over one year to replace the roof on the Legion hall to make it a more welcoming and safer environment for members and the community.

$8,700 over one year to purchase equipment and to develop and distribute promotional material that markets the Town of Wallaceburg as a great place to live, work and visit. This will encourage new business and tourism in the area.

$21,000 over one year to purchase and install environmentally safe artifact-storage shelving and create space for collection management in this rural museum. These will provide an enhanced experience for visitors and help preserve the collection.
Windsor Games and Beyond Coalition c/o Special Olympics Ontario
$75,000 over one year for an outreach worker and orientation programs. These will help to ensure that 1,000 volunteers are properly trained and leave a legacy for special Olympics in Windsor.
