Information Sessions

You are invited to a free, day-long learning event presented by the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). This learning event features two distinct workshops and offers you the opportunity to attend all or part of the day. Attend either or both workshops, depending on your interest and the fit with your organization’s priority projects.

WORKSHOP 1: Projects with provincial impact 9:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. (lunch included)
If your project has a broad geographical reach and impacts three or more OTF catchment areas (or two, if one is in the North), then we encourage you to learn more about OTF’s projects with provincial impact. This in-depth workshop will focus on the key components of building a strong application for projects with provincial impact. The criteria for this program is the same as for the Grow Investment Stream, save and except for the scope, reach and impact of the project. The application deadline for projects with provincial impact is September 27, 2017 by 5 p.m. ET, and if you plan on applying, be sure to register your organization with OTF by September 6, 2017 by 5 p.m. ET.

WORKSHOP 2: Capital Investment Stream 2:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
If your project will enhance your community space with a capital improvement (such as a renovation, new building, equipment purchase, etc.), then this workshop is for you! This practical workshop will offer concrete ways to build an effective Capital project and a strong OTF application “from the ground up”. The deadline for the Capital Investment Stream is October 25, 2017 at 5 p.m. ET, and if you plan on applying, be sure to register your organization with OTF by October 4, 2017 at 5 p.m. ET.

SIGN UP TODAY!

And remember:
• Registration is limited to three people per organization. (Each person must register online separately).
• We will provide lunch for those registrants attending the Projects with provincial impact session. To avoid food waste and unnecessary expense, if your plans change and you cannot attend, please let us know so that we can give your spot to other interested participants.
• Although we will do our best to accommodate special meal requests and/or accessibility or other needs, we may not be able to meet your needs if you register less than 72 hours prior to the start of the session.

Our venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

We look forward to seeing you, and please do share news of this event in your community and with your networks!
