Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day
On June 21st, we celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day. It’s a day to recognize the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
OTF is committed to reconciliation – we work with and learn from Indigenous peoples to ensure our work is more inclusive and representative of the people of Ontario. Our journey through reconciliation is one of respect and understanding.
- Since 2015, we are pleased to have invested more than $24.5 million in initiatives benefiting Indigenous communities across the province. To learn more about our actions, visit Our Commitment To Reconciliation page.
- While a lot of Ontarians continue to stay home, we encourage you to pick up a digital copy of one of the books from the #IndigenousReads reading list and CBC’s list: 108 Indigenous writers to read. You can also explore a virtual exhibit at your favourite museum.
